What can happen if I use a wireless network that is NOT secure?
If you connect to a network that is not secure, be aware that someone with the right tools can see everything that you do, including the websites you visit, the documents you work on, and the user names and passwords you use. Make sure that you don't work on any company-sensitive information or visit password-protected areas of your business network while you are connected to that network.

Helicopter Lift Cancellation Notice for Wed., 8/26/09
Residents,
We found out this morning, 8/25/09, that tomorrow's scheduled helicopter lift for Wednesday, 8/26/09, has been canceled until 9/16/09.
Apparently the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) grounded the helicopter for repairs.

The follwing areas are closed due to the replacement of (2) exhaust fans on the rooftop:
7th Floor Recreational Deck
5B Pool Deck Area
4A Gate
4A Elevator Landing Glass Door
Makai Glass Door by Mtn Apple
Makai Ramp from Ala Moana Road
Makai Side Ewa/Diamond Head Gates on Bottom Level near Mtn Apple
Fire Lane from Ala Moana and Loading Dock
3B Gate Exit from Inside - Access ONLY to 3B Guest Parking
3B Glass Door -Access ONLY to 5B Your Retirement Company from 3B Guest Parking
(You MUST stay under the Parking Structure)
Exit and Entry of the building will be allowed through the 2A Gate ONLY!

Because (2) Exhaust Fans are being Replaced on the 01 Stack & the 08 Stack Roof Top.
CAUTION
The Makai Ramp and Circular Driveway will be closed, during this time period, to vehicles and all pedestrians.
Exit & Entry of the building will be allowed through the 2A Gate Only!
The 5B Bridge will also be closed!

Hurricane Preparedness - Wednesday, 8/5/09
As precaution, there are two Tropical Storms in the Pacific that could possibly reach our islands, in the next 5 days, and could potentially turn into a hurricane. It is best to take precautionary measures by maintaining appropriate supplies and having extra water handy.
Please come down to the lobby, and you'll find extra copies put on the table, outside the mailroom, of the Information Handbook for Emergency Preparedness, published by Hawaiian Electric Company.
